he Inn at Millrace Pond comprises a series of historic buildings gathered round the first ever erected in the little village of Hope, founded in 1768 by Moravians. The original mill no longer works, but in the fireside tavern its relics show and the millrace still flows. Superbly restored, the inn provides a serene location for a romantic getaway. The inn prides itself on its reputation for generous hospitality. Enjoy an exceptional meal in the award-winning restaurant where candlelit dinners are served from an imaginative menu. Energetic visitors can play tennis, hike at the nearby state forest, or cross-country ski in the wintertime.
